We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded an Amber Flag for showing commitment to promoting mental health by encouraging teamwork and creating a healthy, inclusive school environment that supports mental health and wellbeing.
To be awarded the Amber Flag we identified three goals for the school year 2018/2019 and we worked together to achieve these goals.
Our goals were:
We will hold a Mental Health Awareness Day in our school in Term 2.
We will promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all.
We will try to prevent mental health issues through the increase of awareness, social support and reducing risk factors such as racism, bullying and isolation.
