We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded an Amber Flag for showing commitment to promoting mental health by encouraging teamwork and creating a healthy, inclusive school environment that supports mental health and wellbeing.

To be awarded the Amber Flag we identified three goals for the school year 2018/2019 and we worked together to achieve these goals.

Our goals were:

  • We will hold a Mental Health Awareness Day in our school in Term 2.
  • We will promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all.
  • We will try to prevent mental health issues through the increase of awareness, social support and reducing risk factors such as racism, bullying and isolation.
