Yoga is one of our strategies for promoting wellness at Cranny NS.

The children have started a six-week yoga programme with our teacher Ms. Coyne.  There are many benefits to yoga including:

  • Improvement of posture, flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and motor skills
  • Helps children to recognise and honour all emotions
  • Teaches breathing techniques that increase energy and decrease anxiety providing effective coping strategies during these uncertain times.

The children are enjoying their yoga classes.
